Building glute strength improves posture, relieves lower back pain, and stabilises the hip and knee joints. We use the gluteal muscles for getting up out of a chair, lifting, carrying, climbing stairs and for propulsion.
They are the central hinge on the body to lift the entire body weight in arm balancing.
Weak glutes are a result of not using them. Most daily activities avoid using the glutes, so they become underdeveloped. All that sitting leads to weakness and other muscles take up the slack such as your lower back or hamstrings. That’s when these areas shorten and pain arises in the lower back, hip joints, and knees.
In this workshop we will use a variety of poses and yoga techniques to revitalise and strengthen the glutes. Investment for your butt £2
